Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

This policy explains how LX Wipe (“LX Wipe”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit lxwipe.com or send us an inquiry. It is written with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA) in mind.

Who is responsible for your data?

The controller is LX Wipe, an OEM and private label wet wipes supplier based in China. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].

What data do we collect?

When you send the inquiry form

  • Contact details: name, business email address and company name.
  • Inquiry details: request type (quote, sample or call), buyer type, target market, product, quantity, packaging needs and your message.
  • Context: the page you sent the form from, the date and time, and your confirmation that we may use the details to respond.
  • Hashed network identifier: to prevent spam and abuse we calculate a one-way, salted SHA-256 hash of your IP address and store it with the inquiry, so that we can limit repeated submissions. We do not store your raw IP address in our inquiry database.

Please do not include sensitive personal data in the message field. The form is meant for business inquiries.

When you email us or use WhatsApp

If you write to [email protected] or contact us through the WhatsApp link, we receive whatever you send us, including your name, contact details and message. WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp/Meta under its own privacy policy.

When you browse the site

Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, requested pages and timestamps in order to deliver the pages and protect the site against attacks. The web fonts are hosted on our own domain, so no third-party font service receives your data.

Do we use cookies or analytics?

No. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, pixels or similar technologies, and we do not set cookies ourselves. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie if its bot protection is triggered; this is used only to keep the site secure. Because we do not use non-essential cookies, we do not show a cookie banner. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Why do we use your data, and on what legal basis?

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing newsletters from this form.

Who receives your data?

  • Cloudflare, Inc.: hosts the website and the inquiry function, and stores inquiry records in its D1 database service.
  • Alibaba Cloud (Aliyun) enterprise mail: our business mailbox provider. When you send the form, a notification containing your inquiry is emailed to our mailbox.
  • Partner factories: we only share the product specification needed to quote or produce your order. We share your contact details only if a project requires it and you have agreed.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

International data transfers

LX Wipe is based in China, and our service providers operate globally. Your data may therefore be processed outside your country, including outside the EEA and the UK, in countries that may not offer the same level of data protection. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK addendum) where our providers offer them, or on the transfer being necessary to handle the request you sent us.

How long do we keep your data?

We keep inquiry records and related correspondence for as long as we need them to answer your inquiry and manage any business relationship that follows. If an inquiry does not lead to a business relationship, we aim to delete it within 24 months after our last contact. Records relating to orders may be kept longer where accounting or legal obligations require it. The hashed network identifier is stored with the inquiry record and deleted together with it.

What are your rights?

EEA and UK

Subject to legal conditions, you have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing (including processing based on legitimate interests), receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

California

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to request deletion and correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — which we do not do. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. You may use an authorised agent; we may need to verify your request.

How to make a request

Email [email protected] with your request and the email address you used to contact us. We will reply within one month (GDPR / UK GDPR) or 45 days (CCPA). Where the law allows, these periods can be extended, and we will tell you if that happens.

Security

The website is served only over HTTPS. Inquiry data is stored in a managed database with restricted access, and only people who handle inquiries can read it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Children

This is a business-to-business website, and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or data flows change. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. See also our Terms of Use.
